TONIGHT! The Oregon Burlesque Festival begins!

My most sincere apologies for not posting about this sooner, but I’ve been so busy lately it’s not even funny. But tonight begins three fabulous nights of glittery goodness at Dante’s in Portland – the fourth annual Oregon Burlesque Festival! Featuring more amazing performers from around the country than you can shake a tail feather at, our smoking hot headliner Ray Gunn, and our own local legend September Rose! I will be performing tonight, an old favorite with an updated (and extremely souped-up) costume! Go here for tickets for tonight, and here and here for Friday and Saturday! There are workshops too – with Ray Gunn and EmpeROAR Fabulous! Portland may be in the grips of a record-breaking heat wave right now, but the weather is not the only thing that’s hot around here! I am back, bitches!

Hey all – I am very pleased to let you know that my lumpectomy surgery was a success! I will be starting radiation therapy very soon, and all signs look really really good for a complete recovery. Thank you all so much for your love and support! Please check my schedule page for my upcoming performances next month!

Loxie is taking a break.

The Oregon Burlesque Festival was absolutely amazing! All my thanks and love to my fellow performers and to all who came out to cheer us on. I’m still processing the fabulousness. There will be pics and video coming soon!

In the meantime, I am finding that I need to take a break for a while. I was recently diagnosed with invasive carcinoma of the left breast. I will be going in for lumpectomy surgery this coming Wednesday. My surgeon says that the tumor is very small and we caught it early, so my chances for a full recovery are excellent. So, I plan on taking it easy for the rest of the month at least. I will definitely keep you all posted on my progress. Thank you all so much for your love and support! Burlesque fans are the best there is. ❤

I am beyond thrilled and honored to announce that I will be performing at the Friday night showcase of the Oregon Burlesque Festival! If you haven’t been, I strongly encourage you to come on out and take in the fabulousness. This is our second festival, and if it turns out to be only half as grand as our debut last year, your mind will be thoroughly blown.
