Yes it’s true, I’m back on the stage tonight! It’s been a very long time but tonight is That ’70s Variety Show and you know you don’t want to miss it! Produced by the frightening but fabulous Mister Tickles, I will be joining a stellar cast that includes Marla Darling, Prince Peanut Butter, Kat Van Dayum and Miss Scarlett Thrustmore! I’ll be bringing an old favorite back to the stage, a certain patriotic eagle who will encourage you to give it your all! See you there? Groovy! ✌
My most sincere apologies for not posting about this sooner, but I’ve been so busy lately it’s not even funny. But tonight begins three fabulous nights of glittery goodness at Dante’s in Portland – the fourth annual Oregon Burlesque Festival! Featuring more amazing performers from around the country than you can shake a tail feather at, our smoking hot headliner Ray Gunn, and our own local legend September Rose! Burlesque is fun, there’s no doubt about that. But sometimes we are called to channel that fun and energy into an important cause that affects us all. I am so thrilled to be a part of this amazing benefit show for survivors of rape and sexual assault. Look at that line-up! I apologize for being a major slacker in the posting department! I was unable to participate in Rare Vintage Burlesque‘s June show, Love and PRIDE!, due to having to go out of town. Wouldn’t you know it – it was our first sold-out show! And by all accounts, what a show it was. We turned it into a benefit for the families of the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, and it was a grand success. I apologize again for not posting about this until now. Thank you so much to everyone who attended and all the beautiful performers who made this an unforgettable experience!
